Black Tie for Paws’ will be the first ever red carpet pet event taking place on Long Island will be held at Doggie U K9 Academy on Saturday, February 25, 2012 at 6pm.  Complete with a red carpet and ThePuparazzi taking pictures, guests are expected to come in cocktail attire but most importantly their dogs accompanying them should be dressed to the K-9’s! There will be live music by McMillian Sports & Entertainment, featuring the vocal talents of Priceless & the Kamm Band food, drinks, raffles,  Diana Frohman’s Freestyle dancing dogs and Rick Caran and Team Jilli Dog - Jilli Dog, Spidey Chi and Ruby, the new star-pup will be doing a trick show!  Gift bags, Life is Grruff will be giving out scrumptious dog treats and the dressed up pups need somewhere to strut their stuff, a runway fashion show of course! This event is a dual fundraising benefit Two AMAZING non-for-profit groups that work with our Town Municipal shelter animals, The Shelter Connection and Shelter Link! 100% of the proceeds from the event will go these to two 501 (c) 3 non-for-profit all volunteer groups, based right here on Long Island working who with our local animal shelters.  These two organizations dedicate countless hours of their own lives to make it better for the dogs and cats in The Town of North Hempstead Animal Shelter (The Shelter Connection) and the Town of Islip Animal Shelter (Shelter Link). If it were not for these amazing volunteers, many dogs and cats would not get the socialization, play time (even if it’s just ˝ hour a day out of their kennel), and most important many would never get adopted.

The ticket price for this event is $75 per person, (dogs accompanied by a ticket holding owner are admitted at no charge), and tickets must be purchased (Below using Paypal or at Doggie U) ahead of time. Tickets are $85 per person at the door the night of the event. You can Purchase Tickets below! For more info call (631) 968-7972.
